Jesus said, “This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come ”(Matthew 24:14).
We believe that God’s command to love orphans is part of the Spirit’s moving around the world. From North Korea to China, India, Ukraine, Iraq, Guatemala and now Cuba, we have seen an amazing convergence and direct correlation between loving orphans and spreading the Gospel.
At Hope for Orphans, we believe that as the church in the West serves the global church through serving Orphans, we will see one of the greatest harvests for the kingdom in our time.
To that end, Hope for Orphans has and continues to develop events and resources for the international church. Please consider partnering with us!
CUBA
Cuba has over 40 orphanages and many Bible-believing churches. We are developing relationships with these churches with an aim to bring hope to orphans through pastor’s events, medical training, and church partnerships.
JUSTICE FOR KOREA
Thousands of North Korean orphan refugees are struggling to survive in Asia. We have been working with Korean churches in America and Asia for four years and are developing resources to equip the Korean church for orphan care.
COLOMBIA
There are many, many children in need of permanency, a family, and the gospel in this beautiful country of 47 million. Hope for Orphans is serving alongside government and church leaders to train and equip Christians to become the visible gospel to at risk children living in Colombia.
RECENT PROJECTS
In the Spring of 2016, in partnership with the Gospel Through Colombia, we were able to train over 500 evangelical pastors in Medellin. As we build relationships with Colombian orphanages, we also hosted a senior leadership delegation with Here I Am Ministries. This was a pioneering step for collaboration between American churches and the government of Colombia for child placement. Hope for Orphans was also able to facilitate an exciting conversation about how the Colombian adoption authority can begin to train and certify much needed foster families in Colombian evangelical churches.
