Description
What would it look like to not only teach our kids about God’s love, but to give them the opportunity to live out their faith from a young age? With God working through them, kids can respond in big ways to the needs around them.
Project Lionheart is designed for 8-12 year olds in your local church, Christian school, homeschool co-op, or home. The six video-driven lessons teach children about God’s love for orphans—both spiritual and physical. Kids are exposed to the experiences of children from unstable or broken homes, introduced to real kids making a difference, and equipped with practical steps to start serving children in their communities and around the world.
Help your students start taking action with the Student Workbook. In addition to worksheets for all 6 lessons, each workbook comes with a Lionheart Project Booklet, which will walk students through the steps of starting their own projects to respond to the needs around them.
Note to Parents and Teachers: The first lesson of Project Lionheart discusses the loss and trauma that children can experience in foster care or orphanages. If your class or family includes children with unresolved trauma from those experiences, please preview this material in advance to plan for how you will serve those children.
