God created everything beautiful and perfect.  People were created to live with God forever.  People were supposed to have families and to take care of God's creation.  If the world had stayed perfect, everyone would live with God forever and there would be no orphans.
 
Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!  Genesis 1:31a (NLT)
